When you return to the European Union, you may take with you at no further cost

You must declare to the Customs all goods in excess of the limits shown on this table. You cannot accumulate duty-free allowances by value either between travellers or between agricultural and industrial goods.
Alcohol, tobacco, coffee, tea, perfumes and eau-de-cologne are limited by quantity and not by value. On the other hand, you have other goods such as milk, butter, cheese, sugar and sweets where value is what counts.
There is no need to declare to the Community Customs any goods which are not in excess of these limits on condition that they are for your personal use. Quantities allowed may vary depending on the travellers age.
Last but not least, enquire at any Community Customs office about special limits which may from time to time apply, particularly with regard to animal or vegetable products, live animals, endangered species, medicines, weapons and ammunition, art and collectors pieces, currency or means of payment
